Project background: Founded by Mr. Samant Gupta and Mr. Alok Sharma, Suno Studios was born to help musicians find the perfect music studios, jam, record, and produce their next YouTube hit. Musicians also get post-production support to get their tracks mixed and mastered to give them the final polished output. With the head office based out of Bangalore, India, the company has recording studios in various locations across India.

Brand identity design to bring alive a magician brand archetype for Suno Studios
This music studio logo design is a visual representation of “Suno” in an organic, musically connected style. The wavy composition naturally evokes sound waves, making the design highly relevant to the music industry. In fact, more elements of this logo are featured in this startup branding case study of a music recording studio based in India, where we aimed to capture the essence of sound and creativity in visual form. The design also anticipates future applications, from neon-glow to wooden engraving and leather embossing.

Brand expression system
The brand expression system defines the brand’s tone of voice and the brand’s visual expression system comprising of the brand color pallet, brand typography family, brand graphic styles, brand imagery styles, iconography system, style guides, etc. It ensures consistency in the brand’s communication and complete uniformity in style and formatting for the brand. We chose Orange & Purple for the brand as the colors are unisex and have a bright/happy mood emotion attached to them. The font family was recommended to cover a large spectrum of music genres.
Logo exclusion zone for clean & effective visibility
The logo exclusion zone represents a meticulously designated clear space surrounding the logo, ensuring it always retains its impact and stands out cleanly against any background. This clear area prevents any overlapping from other graphic elements or text, thereby preserving the logo’s integrity and visual prominence. To achieve optimal visibility and balance, an exclusion zone equivalent to one-third of the logo’s height has been maintained on all sides. This disciplined approach ensures that the logo has ample "breathing room" and remains unmistakably distinct in any application.
